Why natural cork: naturally antimicrobial, non-toxic, biodegradable, renewable material. Our cork grain is hand harvested from Cork Oak trees from Portugal. The trees are never cut down and when their bark is harvested they regenerate it while absorbing up to five times more CO2 than unharvested trees.
